The Nursing and Midwifery Care Research Center was established in 2009 in the school of nursing and midwifery. In 2015, wound healing and women’s health research centers were added, and consequently, nursing and midwifery care research centers complex was formed. This complex, with 30 academic members and appropriate physical atmosphere and research equipments and facilities, takes steps toward its research priorities in direction with its mission.
The vision of this centre is to establish a dynamic, progressive and innovative research environment and to train competent researchers to improve and maintain community health.
The mission is to develop basic and applied nursing and midwifery science through conducting research activities to promote quality evidence-based nursing and midwifery care, supporting the researchers and reinforcement of inter-professional and inter-disciplinary collaboration in health system.
